Details Tab - Labor

The Labor Details page is split into several panes that contain different types of information about the labor resource.

ClosedLabor Info

The Labor Info pane displays identifies the labor record:

  • Labor ID — the unique ID for the labor record

  • Name — the labor record's full name or the name of a company

  • Initials — the labor record's initials that appear on the work order assignment calendar and on tasks completed by the labor record

  • Type — the type of labor record, for example, employee or contractor. This field defaults to EMP for employee.

    If the record is no longer a labor resource, you can select Transfer to Requester Module for the Type field to remove the record from the Labor module and move the record to the Requester module.

  • Employment Status — the current employment status for the labor record, for example, Contractor, Hourly, or Intern

  • Birth Date — the labor record's birth date

  • Hire Date — the labor record's hire date

  • Term Date — the labor record's termination date, if applicable

ClosedJob / Craft Info

The Job Crafts pane contains information the labor record's position and expertise:

  • Job Title — the labor record's job title

  • Craft — the labor records' craft

    Each labor record must be associated with a craft to allow for proper work order assignment, so this is a required field.

ClosedPosition Details

The Position Details pane identifies the labor record's placement in the organization:

  • Repair Center – the repair center the labor is assigned to

  • Shop – the shop the labor is assigned to

  • Shift – the shift when this labor occurs

  • Supervisor – the labor record's supervisor

  • Location – location where the labor is conducted

  • Company – the company performing the labor

  • Account – the account assigned to the labor

  • Department – the department assigned to the labor

  • Category – the company assigned to the labor

ClosedStatus

The Status pane identifies the labor record's current status and availability:

  • Active — indicates whether the labor record is active or inactive

    Inactive labor records do not appear for selection for labor assignments.

  • On Call — indicates whether the labor record is on call

  • Available for Auto-Assignments — indicates whether the labor record is available for automatic assignments through pre-defined rules

ClosedMembership Info

The Membership Info pane identifies the labor record's membership information if the labor record is associated with a member record:

  • Access — identifies whether the member record's access to Maintenance Connection is Enabled or Disabled

  • Member ID — the labor records' Member ID, which may be different than the Labor ID

  • Access Group — the member record's access group

  • Menu Name — the member record's view of the module menu, customized by a System Administrator

ClosedPhoto

The Photo pane contains the labor record's photograph.

You can Attach or Remove a photo using the buttons provided. Attached photos appear on assignments for the labor record on the Work Order Details page and applicable assignment calendars.
